teams message list

Lists all messages from a channel in a Microsoft Teams team

Usage​

m365 teams message list [options]

Options​

-i, --teamId <teamId>

The ID of the team where the channel is located.

-c, --channelId <channelId>

The ID of the channel for which to list messages.

-s, --since [since]

Date (ISO standard, dash separator) to get delta of messages from (in last 8 months).

-h, --help [help]

Output usage information. Optionally, specify which section of command's help you want to see. Allowed values are options, examples, remarks, response, full. Default is options.

--query [query]

JMESPath query string. See http://jmespath.org/ for more information and examples.

-o, --output [output]

Output type. json, text, csv, md, none. Default json.

--verbose

Runs command with verbose logging.

--debug

Runs command with debug logging.

Remarks​

You can only retrieve a message from a Microsoft Teams team if you are a member of that team.

List the messages from a channel of the Microsoft Teams team that have been created or modified since the date specified by the --since parameter (WARNING: only captures the last 8 months of data).
