PnP Recognition Program

We're committed to building the best tech community in the world, where everyone feels welcome and recognized.

The PnP community would not be what it is today if it wasn't for our contributors' hard work. We want to show that we appreciate everyone's contributions.

Find out how to get your contributions recognized.

Program Overview

You should be proud of the amazing things you do for this community.

We partnered with Credly to create prestigious digital badges that you can proudly display on your website, social media profiles, and your resume.

When you achieve a new contribution milestone, we'll automatically award you badges.

The PnP contribution badges will appear along with your other professional accreditations -- like the Microsoft Certifications and many others.

To get started, provide your GitHub and other contact information, and keep contributing like you've always done (or get started!).

We'll take it from here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a cost to join the PnP Recognition Program?

No, the recognition program is completely free to join. You are invited to provide your GitHub and contact information by using the Credly Registration for the Microsoft 365 Patterns & Practices Recognition Program.

What do I have to do to get a badge?

We're always looking for ways to recognize the hard work of our community members. We'll be adding new badges and achievement rewards in the future. Come back to this page to see new challenges!

How often do I need to renew my badges?

Our gratitude is forever, and so are your badges!

Once we award you a badge, you get to keep it. It will go on your Credly profile as long as you have one.

I made contributions but didn't get a badge. What's up with that?

We only issue badges for the criteria listed on each badge.

We can also only issue badges to those who filled the Credly Registration for the Microsoft 365 Patterns & Practices Recognition Program.

Once a badge is issued to you, you'll receive an email notification (make sure to check your spam) prompting you to accept your badge.

I don't have a Credly account. Do I need one?

You don't need an account to start contributing, but you'll need to create an account to accept your first badge.

It does not hurt to Create a Credly Account in advance, though.

My Credly email address is different than the one I gave you. Does it matter?

No, as long as you can receive emails at the address you gave us when you registered for the program, you'll get an invitation to accept the badges via that email. You can sign-in to Credly using any other email address you want.

Digital badges are lame. Can I get a t-shirt or a sticker or something instead?

We wanted to create an environmentally-friendly initiative that is socially-responsible and sustainable. T-shirts and other trinkets invariably end up in a landfill somewhere. And the cost to send you a digital badge does not change -- regardless of where you live in the world.

With that being said, if you really want to show your pride in the PnP community, you can visit Parker's Place and make everyone around you green with envy.
