Add a complete, documented sample so others can understand the scenario, adapt the pattern, and use it responsibly.

    Fork and branch

    Work from the latest main branch and keep the pull request focused.

    Add the sample

    Include a README, complete metadata, a representative preview, and the correct view tracker.

    Validate and submit

    Run gallery validation, then describe the scenario and test details in your pull request.

Gallery quality

Make the sample easy to trust

Document prerequisites, setup, expected results, limitations, and references. Include a representative image and never include secrets or personal data. Samples are community-provided, not Microsoft products, and receive best-effort volunteer support.
